Usability Testing

Finally, I utilized A/B testing to identify the language that resonates most with users and leads to conversions, make sure that our voice and tone align with our content style guide, and identify any pain points that might come up in our principal user journey.

Testing Plan

Methodology: Testing was moderated and performed remotely using FigJam. Subjects were shown two versions of each screen to read through and asked to highlight pieces of copy that work for them. They were then asked to explain why they chose certain copy over the other.

Participants:

  • 4 participants, all recruited through my personal network

  • Aged 29-30

  • All female, two Black, one Latina, and one white

  • Common traits: All participants are beauty and skincare lovers who have subscribed to beauty subscription boxes in the past
