Content Planning
Before developing screens for the website, I got to work on the planning. I wrote Glow&Co’s mission statement, mapped out the principle user journey, created a mini content style guide, and used card sorting to define and prioritize my product’s features.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to help women of color discover the best in clean, Black-owned beauty by delivering new and tried-and-true makeup, hair care, and skincare products straight to their doors every month. We aim to create a safe, inclusive space for BIPOC beauty lovers to feel empowered and supported, and to find joy in taking care of themselves. Our values are strong, and should be reflected throughout our brand’s messaging.
